Join our diverse global Facilitator team and manage the direct contact with companies, supporting and convincing the senior executives of these companies to sign up to the Race to Zero.
Description
Responsibilities
• Understand candidate companies’ needs for a net-zero-journey and provide support;
• Managing day to day contact with the key contact of the candidate companies;
• Collecting information about the companies and help to maintaining an up-to-date database;
• Understand the key areas of interest and requirements of the candidate companies and work with the project team
• Work with Net Zero Experts and/or Experienced Leaders to help to answer questions the companies have
• Support the companies in their research for the appropriate official partners of the Race To Zero;
• Encourage the companies to take part in Race To Zero webinars and trainings to get up to speed on the latest discussions;
• Work with wider Race To Zero team to push out the key message through social media;
• Report to the Facilitator Coordinators on the progress, roadblocks, successes and feedback from the companies
• Encourage and convince the companies to sign up to the Race To Zero through proactive and sensitive interactions.
Requirements
• B2B / corporate relationship management experience
• Experience in volunteering
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent motivational and coaching skills
• Knowledge and experience in sustainability and climate change related projects would be ideal
• Consulting experience would be a big plus
• Able to dedicate 8-10 hours per week to the role
• Available September to November 2021 with likely extension
